75 F-350 engine, tranny swap
Hello everyone!
I need more than a bit brain picking. I have a 75 F-350 with a 390 and c-6 trans. For many reasons, I am changing to an inline 300, with an AOD trans. I am buying a complete deal at the bone yard, with all the goodies. How do I tell a 300 from a 240? What do I need to look for in regards to bolting up the trans to it, if I get them from different vehicles? I imagine I am going to go with a pre EFI engine, and a post 88 trans, without the electronics. All info is appreciated. BB Register now (free) or login to remove ads
