A 77 should be a 500 incher and should bolt right up to the other tranny, but the eldo is a front driver and the tranny is not usable in that application.

i had a 78 eldo one of the worst experiences of my life was trying to pull that motor&tranny
the motor is a 425 and there a decent motor but you wont find to many hipo parts for it all my best wishes if you try this swap. you can't use the tranny. <img src="graemlins/sweat.gif" border="0" alt="[sweat]" />
