77 camaro floor pan replacement

I have a question, Im getting a professional to install the floor pans in my 77 camaro, Hes doing full length pans on Rh and Lh side. Im going to take it to my shop after hes done, and put it on the rack and add some lizard skin to the top, and underside of the car. So all im getting him to do is cut the pans out and install the new full length pans on both sides. What would be a good price to pay for his labor to re do the floors? A few hundered? Anyone whos tackeled a job like this and would be able to give me a figure i would greatly appreciate it thanks

you're way off the mark. I'd do that for no less than $1500 and I'm far from picky price wise.

Do you mean full length as in to your rear seat or full length as in a patch that goes no further than the front seat? If it's small I'd do it for no less than $800

I can't afford that much. How much of skill level is involved? Im ASE certified im an auto technician. Ive worked on cars since i was 14 29 now. Could this be done with never doing a job like this before? The pans are going to run from the front toe to the front of where the rear sear sits. The trans tunnel is okay, Its rusted threw in all 4 corners. Im pretty sure i have all the tools i would need.. A cut off small mig is there anything else that you would need that a mechanic wouldn't have? I want to learn to do it any way. Thanks i had no idea i was thinking 600 tops

for that size $600 isn't bad. I'd do it for that much, especially if there's rails or a flanges it sits on.

I'd offer a range from $500-$600. I just thought it was a bigger panel but the size you describe is what you usually see when it comes in L & R sides. I personally haven't done enough of them but can imagine a guy who has done a lot of them may even go cheaper than that cause he'd knock it out quicker, but I'm pretty fast nonetheless.
