I need some advice on bucket seats for a 77 2 door nova. We removed the bench and installed some buckets from a cavalier. These turned out not to be what we want. What have some of you used? We would like to stay away from aftermarket
due to their expense. Unless someone has a better contact than I can find. Thanks for your replys.
back in the 70's i used some maverick gt buckets beleive it or not they fit like stockers just had to drill the inside track holes and use a couple 3/8 shims , the even matched the rest of the interior
Check out the later 80s and 90s Escorts,Tempos, topaze, these sell cheap and not bad seats and lots of colors to pick from,The boneyards are full of them.
The small ford seats are decent, but keep in mind the backs are weak. I have broken two of these myself while trying to get money out of my pocket at a drive-through.
