Hi everyone, I am getting back to finishing my 49 chevy p/u finally! I don't remember how the external wiring routes The inside kit was finished 2 years ago. This is the tci kit. I have a red, green, and black coming from the tranny plug. There is also an extra black wire piggy'd to the black wire. Also the vaccum switch with the 2 prongs. I want to be able to switch the lock-up in 2nd,3rd,and 4th gear. 700R-4 trans. I want to do this right the first time Any help would be appreciated. Brad...

770r4 external wiring

I am trying to wire the external wires on my 700r. The plug on the trans has red, green, and black wires coming out of it. I also have a vacuum switch with two prongs. I think that "key on 12v" to the red wire gives me lock-up in 4th gear. How do I wire in the vacuum switch, and what about the green and black wires? This is the external part of a tci kit I put in a few years ago. 49 chevy p/u. I don't understand their instructions. I would also like to toggle the tcc on in 2 & 3. Thanks so much for all of your help over the years, I really appreciate it.
