78 dodge aspen
i have an old aspen that i bomb around the field in and shes starting to get a little fijjity. the problem is that shell start up run good, then when she starts to warm up it dies, just like that. it sounds like its running out of gas, but im pretty sure its electrical. im contomplating getting a coil for it, but my dad told me about a thing called a ballist resistor and how a lot of chryslers had problems with them. im wondering if that might be my problem? if anyone could tell me what a ballist resistor does, it would be helpful.
thanks |

Yeah, sounds familiar. If it starts then immediately dies, chances are the resistor has gone south.
I used to carry a spare in the glove box of my '70 Dart just for the occasion. |
