I have a 78 el camino that I would like to lower. I have visited a couple of companies on line that show they don't have dropped spindles for 78 el camino's. What is the deal?

Thanks for the info! I don't know why that possibility did not cross my mind. A few years ago I took a 78 chevy 3/4 ton p/u and put the suspension from a 78 full size chevy station wagon under it. Everything bolted right up except for the rear end of course which I had to build a 4-link coil set-up for it. I still would like to find out why 78 and I think some of the 79's are not the same as the later models for the spindles. By the way Carguy, that looks like a very nice ride. Have you had any experience with Lauren Engineering? I am planning to order some things from them, mostly fiberglass body parts. Thanks again, your info has given me another option.
