78' Ford LTD & 51' Merc Chassis ???
Does anyone know the wheelbase and track for these two cars? Or a website / Link to where I can look it up?
1978 Ford LTD 2 door 1951 Merc 2 door Thanks

I beleive the rear wheel width from hub flat to hub flat is 52" The LTD I think is 56" or 58".
Not interchangable without a lot of rearend work. A 302 and 351 ford engine and trany will bolt in a with little modification. Just new mounts and a little welding/cutting. Replacing the whole front chassie is not just a simple cut and bolt in job. You have to make all new body mounts from front to back. Radiator mounts, fender mounts, bumper mounts, steering colom will need work to fit to the new one. If you want disk brakes there are kits for that car. Motor kits and parts lists are also available to install almost anything into that car.
