78 Ranchero

Hi. I'm a 65 year old car enthusiast working on a 78 Ranchero GT: body off resto to proud driver. So far, all torn down, engine rebuilding, body lifted but not separated from frame. Recent back surgery limits work at this time. 351 Windsor and c-4, so it won't be a drag strip burner, but will be fun to tool around town. At my age, that's enough!

Anyone who has been through one of these and knows of pitfalls (other than blue oval fever, you Chevy guys) I'd appreciate knowing about them.

Thumbs up

Beautiful car... That LTD II front end sets the late ones apart.

I had a '73 GT with the CJ package some years back. Wish I had never gotten rid of it...

73 GT ranchero

My currant ranchero is a 73 GT -with 351 C motor at the present time it is sitting with some lousy gas and two flat tires ,but I have hopes of getting it moving sometime in the near future ,it got american vector mags 8 1/2 in back 7in in front ext is black ,int is black ,new seat and carpet so it doesn't look to bad ,it would look better if I made the tires round again but its cold and wet out side,so who knows?
