79 350 chevy engine specs

what is the largest main bearing clerance for a 350 4bolt main that is allowable. had my crank polished and there at
6 thousand clearence is this ok I have built the motor
to 375 hp. thanks dave

.006? Yikes! That ain't gonna fly. You oil pressure will suck and it probably won't last long before it starts to hammer out the bearings.

It needs to be .0015 to 002. If you need the exact numbers, I can go get my book.

anything under 1 is not enough and anything over 3 is too much.
