79-93 Mustang 8.8" Rear Differential Width From Hub-To-Hub
Anyone know the width of a 1979-1993 Ford Mustang 5.0L 8.8" Rear End from hub-to-hub?I'm thinking that it's 53 inches,but I'm not for sure.I think that I'm gonna get one of these for my Pinto 351W project,depending on how wide they are.A Pinto rear is 52 inches wide.If the 8.8" is 53",another 1/2" on each side won't hurt it.I'll just have to relocate the shock mounts and leaf spring mounts and stick it under there.I think that it'll handle a 350-400hp 351W
