these guys need to know what your pistons look like, compression height and volume. they need to know if your block has been decked and how much. the biggest piece to the equasion, would be valve train. whats an RV cam? what does your valve timing look like and how much lift? what do your heads look like? are they ported? valve sizes and what chamber shape and volume? what diameter tube headers do you have? how thick is the gasket between your heads and block? you have to give these guys an engine to diagnose. noting a .040 350 and rv cam is extremely vague. you could have .080 quench and a 72cc head with some degree of valve overlap. that engine would be a major turd. if you had .000 decked block with 1.56 comp height flat pistons and a .040 thick head gasket with 64 cc chamber vortec heads and mild cam with slight overlap would be a tire eater. im a nobody, but the th400 with 3.73's with a torquey 350 in a 3100 lb car sounds pretty good. give some more info these guys will set you straight.
