79 nova door panels

I have searched high and low to find any door panels for my 1979 chevy nova. I have not found even one site. Does anyone know of a place that has them?

edit: Also, would another year fit? and i cant find any past 1975

No one that I know of is repoping these door panels. We are
working on a 77. Also a 4th gen. like yours. These cars are not yet considered collectable. They are a challenge to find parts for.
You know about the Appolo,Omega,Ventura being a X body.
I am considering rebuilding our door panels. Haven't tried it before
but I will usually try anything once. Or try the classified adds at this site.
chevytalk.com and Steves nova site are other sources for used items.
Although steves nova site has been down awhile.
Wish I could help more. Forgot to add that 75-79 are the same.

Okay some guy just gave me a quote on door panels for a 79 but the price seemed outrageous. His quote was $725. He was saying he had to make a $2000 die to custom cut it and then had do everything and he would loose money if nobody else ordered them. I think hes full of crap but tell me what you guys think.

I've been looking for some also, I have a 78 and the previous owner decided to put some screws through the lower part of the panel ... Any chance either of you know where I could find a new dash pad, and not a cover?

We should band together and share 4th gen nova info! yay!

Sadly, I have not been able to locate anyone making sheet metal for our precious 4th gen x-body The only thing I can tell ya is to look on ebay and hope something comes up.

I've randomly found a few websites that had replacement panels, even complete rear quaters .. but, some of them seemed a little old and hokey to order from, but I could probably find them again if I looked.

Hello ,

Thank you for your e-mail. We do not have the new dash cap for 1978 Nova, but we can restore for $550 if you like to send us the old one. We have two different kinds of door panels: one is flat-$120, and another one is curved top-$130.00. They can be done in either vinyl or cloth.

Best Regards,
Annette

I emailed asking about a new dash pad and/or door panels and that was the reply .. I think $120 per door panel is a fair price for brand new replacement ones. Now all of you must give me your dash caps! bwuahaha.

When you say rear panels, do you mean quarter panels ? From the back of the door to the bumper, and from the wheelwell to the glass area? If you found a place to get quarter panels for a 2 door, 4th gen nova, PLEASE tell me
