8.1 chevy big block need some help befor i buy!

OK so im thinking about buying a 2002 Chevy 8.1L everything is complete but there isn't an intake manifold put a older carb intake on it? thanks

The heads are unique to this motor. The aftermkt has no carb intakes for it. Or heads for that matter.

These engines also use an oddball crank rod balancer flywheel and piston setup. Not your daddy's Big Block!!

arnt they just a stroked 454? I thought the block was the same.

ya the just increased the stroke, but they changed the heads and accessories mounts
