8.2 pontiac rear end.
i have an 8.2 inch pontiac rear axle housing and i am looking for a posi trac carrier. i have heard that 8.2 bop carrier will work. i found an "o" type 10 bolt oldsmobile carrier and i was wondering if it will fit my housing?

Not sure about the 31 spline axles. Look at the fine print at bottom of 1st chart.

The type O axle is a lot different than the 8.2 BOP axle, what you are looking at won't work in the 8.2 BOP, it will only fit the type O axle.
