8.8 off-set install in a 31 ford
Hello, does anybody know if a ford 8.8 off-set diff. will work in a 31 ford while using buggy type springs ? The present width is almost perfect for the car so cutting ain't gonna fix it,,,thanks for the heip.

rear width
There are different width's of 8.8. 87 and later 80's Mustang are narrow. You can get 2 ranger 5 bolt axle shafts . the short side ( they are different left to right ) . then trim off the old brackets and install the kits for buggy spring brackets, Lincoln Mark from the 80's disc brakes bolt on, Lots more 8,8 info on the later mustang forums.
