You can't grind the springs in the Trac Lock. It has a sheet metal spring bent in the shape of a S, not the 4 coil springs like the Eaton Posi or 5 springs like the Auburn. It shouldn't be a problem. Just be careful when turning corners on wet roads, otherwise it should be fine. If you want the cluthes to slip more then use more of the Ford limited slip oil additive.
