Post 8" Ford posi needed

Ok we are building a budget Ford Pinto drag car and I require a 8" Ford posi for the diff. Any help would be awesome!

good luck, these are very rare, you will have better luck finding a spool or mini spool, I know of only one place in the midwest that has a supply of 8" posi's and they ain't cheap!!

It's hard to get an old one but there are several makers of 8" posi's. Currie and Moser list Auburn, Traction Loc,and Detroit Locker, Jeg's carries Auburn. Currie had them at about $400 for the Trac-Loc (or Auburn one or the other).

You might want to consider moving up to the 9 incher. More strenght and Posi's are plentiful. Better selection of gears also........up to 6.50
