-Currie Enterprises- offers an adaptor to use Lincoln Mark/SVO Mustang rear discs on a 9". They may also offer something for an 8".

The late 70's Ford Granada ESS (european sport) came with disc brake rear axles. they all were 9" diffs but would be a direct bolt on for any Fox chassis car. I happen to have one that came out of a 77 Ess Granada, 3.0 to 1 ratio open (non posi) carrier. You interested? Have new pads for the brakes but one disc needs replacing and the calipers have sat outside for at least a couple of years. I could post pics if you like?

Hi 4 Jaw thanks for the info,I was under the impression that 77 to 80 Granada Discs would work on my 8".Thanks any way but If that info is correct I think I have a doner car located locally.

The 87 mark 7 has an 8.8 rear with airbags plus They are pretty cheap. Around here they go for less than 150.
