Post 83-88 Monte SS Rear end

Does anyone know what rear end chevy used in the 83-88 Monte SS? Posi? Gear Ratio? Got one thats bad and would like to find another from the junk yard instead of having this one rebuilt. Surely they are not the same as the non-SS montes? Would any of the Camaro rears be the same?

They used a 7.5 inch 10 bolt. Any rear from a 1978-1988 G-body will work. I think you could get 3.42 gears in some of them. This also includes the El Camino's and the El Camino SS from 1978-1987.
