83 bronco computer.

I swapped out the variable venturi carb and the stock computer controled distributor and now i need to know what the computer controls. I am a chevy guy and i dont know anything about ford wiring or the ford c6 tranny. are c6's lock ups or are they standard? also does the computer control any of the vehicle functions like:lighting, 4x4, trans controls etc. I took out the factory gages and instaled new ones. the speedometer dosent work to start with so im not too worried about it. I want to know because i think it would be a good place to mount my amp. I dont have to worry about it getting stolen if its bolted down under the seat. the computers there and i dont think i need it. any one know about them?
