83' chevy 700r4 swap
I have an '83 chevy truck 2wd LWB that has a 700 in it. The transmission is about gone and I want to replace it with a th350 long tail (9 inches) what has to be done so the transmission mount will work with the 700r4 crossmember? Do I just find a cross member from another truck that originally came with a 350 and use it instead, or is there some way to fabricate something to make it work?

they are the same crossmember and driveshaft and linkage and mount and all
the trucks used the same crossmember and linkage for all the auto trannies the 80s trucks had: th350 9" 700r4 th400 short with bolted on yoke
