Unhappy 84 305 firing order, please help

Im about to loose it, I just pulled the motor out of my camaro and into my 69 gmc truck, now the camaro had one of those computer controled quadra bogs and computer controled distributor,I instaled
a non vacume hei and a holley 600 cfm duel feed.
the firing order I got off of the old motor from the truck and it is not firing on the 84 motor,it will go "put put" like it wants to fire up but then it spits fuel out of the carb, do I have my firing order messed up or do I have bigger problems.?
