84' C10 Caliper Rattle
The front left caliper just will not shut up! Going down a nice smooth highway there's not a peep out of it but the instant I hit the county blacktop or the gravel roads it's rattle city. I can definitely tell it's coming from the left, and as soon as I tap the breaks it goes away until I let off of them.
I took the wheel off of there about a month ago and checked over the tie-rod ends, wheel bearing, and the caliper. Nothing seemed out of place at all so I guess it's just the break pads rattling, despite them having the rattle clips. Any ideas? |
