The only rears that will bolt in are from the 82-92 Third Generation camaro/Firebird because of the torque are suspension that is used. There are no other interchanges unless you go to custom aftermarket 9" Ford or 12-bolt Chevy's made specific for these cars. The factory rear end is easily the worst feature on these cars and has very little strength(the original design for this rear assembly was for the VEGA 4 cylinder power).
