84 Corvette Repair?
I Know The 84 Corvettes Are Some Type Of Plastic Fiberglass?? Composite, I Have Two Cracks In The Quarter Panel , The Rep Says The Norton Two Part Epoxy Or Speedgrip Urethane Will Repair Them, I Have Also Talked To The Norton Rep He Says The Same, Does Anyone Have Any Experience In Working On One Of These Cars, I Am Not New To This, But I Am Very Unfamiliar With Corvettes, Thanks For Any Help, Mike.

It's Sheet Molded Compound (SMC). Check this out:

If you want to repair SMC in the conventional manner, with mat and resin, there are resins made specifically for this, such as Evercoat's "SMC Fiberglass Resin", #865. Normal fiberglass resin will not adhere well, and should not be used.

1984 Corvette!! Help Anyone!! Did you do Barry's test and find out if the surfaces of that car are contaminated?

The Norton will work just fine.
Carry out your V-Groove as wide and gradual as possible.
