84 T'Bird buckets in a 68 Fairlane?

I just wanted to get some opinions before I did anything rash...
I have an 84 tbird with power highbacks and a center console, I also have a 68 Fairlane that has a broken front bench seat.... Hmmmm...... What do you think?
Personally I hate bench seats, and the tbird is on its last leg anyways.... Just a thought how about your $.02 on this idea.
Oh, bye the way, the Fairlane is not being restored to stock, I'm going full custom with it anyways.

Not much to say. If you want the buckets then put them in. They are bound to be better than a broken bench and you won't be out anything but your time. If you decide you don't like them then take them back out.

I think I'd be telling the wife that when the bird is ready for the wrecker then you will be calling the wrecker.

Sounds like a good selection to me. The highbacks may save your neck in a collision as well.

Well the wife talked me out of it, she brought me home a pair of buckets out of a 69 Cougar, high backs of course. They're in raelly nice shape, but I am going to have them re-done.

Arrow

For future reference of others, the buckets, while nice seats won't bolt directly into the earlier cars. The floor is shaped differently which affects the seat track design. You can bolt earlier seat tracks on the buckets and they will bolt right in.
