85 Chevy Truck Windshield Wiper Delay Modual

I have a 85 Chevy C-10 Silverado which has been hacked on over the years. Now I'm trying to get it all working again. Here, I'm asking about the windshield wipers. They work when turned on low and high only. The mist and delay do not work. I have the style that works off the turn signal lever. I've been told that the "Delay" module is not working. OK, but I can't find it. I've been told it was at the end of the steering column, under the dash. Nothing there but a wiring connection. I've been told that it was in the housing under the steering wheel. Nothing there but the wires for the turn signals. Can someone please tell me where the wiper delay module is?

I've got a project using the harness out of a '96 GM and have been posting on a chevy forum trying to get somebody to ID this little box. Perhaps it is the delay module. It was taped up inside the main trunk of the harness about 12" out from the firewall block. Up under the steering column bracket area.

I don't have one of those, Sparky. But, maybe someone on this site can tell you what you've got. Thanks though.

If you drop the panel off below the column you should see the wiper module right on the bottom side of the column.

Well, 86GMC, tell me more. I have all the wires that come out of the steering column just connect to another connector. Maybe that's where the module goes and it's just not there.
