I got a 85' Corvette, its all stock. L98 5.7 TPI with a 700r4 tranny. Just a few weeks ago I had to park it for a couple weeks for problems with door locks and having to order several things and what not. When I parked it, it was running great. But just yesterday I got the door back togather and got to drive again.
Well now its idleing very high, in gear it idles about 1600 to 1700, and in park it idles about 2000. It used to idle around 700 when I parked it. I have checked all the vaccum hoses and everything I could find that may have been unhooked, and there was nothing.
Could this mean I need to clean my throttle body or what? Im new to working with fuel injection, and I just wanted to ask ya'll before I tear into it not knowing exactly what Im looking for.
Thanks in advance
Brad
