85' corvette idles high

I got a 85' Corvette, its all stock. L98 5.7 TPI with a 700r4 tranny. Just a few weeks ago I had to park it for a couple weeks for problems with door locks and having to order several things and what not. When I parked it, it was running great. But just yesterday I got the door back togather and got to drive again.
Well now its idleing very high, in gear it idles about 1600 to 1700, and in park it idles about 2000. It used to idle around 700 when I parked it. I have checked all the vaccum hoses and everything I could find that may have been unhooked, and there was nothing.
Could this mean I need to clean my throttle body or what? Im new to working with fuel injection, and I just wanted to ask ya'll before I tear into it not knowing exactly what Im looking for.

Thanks in advance

Brad

Did your battery go dead at any time during the 2 weeks or so?

Yeah it did, I forgot to mention that, but I didn't think it would cause anything like this.

You will need to relearn the idle on that beast. If you have a scan tool I think you can do it with that if not just drive the thing it should come back down. ( it may take it some time to come down)

Ive never heard of this, but I'll take your word for it.
This scan tool though, you have any idea on how to use one or anything like that? Ive been trying to look into it, but all Ive found is how to burn my own chips.
Thanks for your help, I appreciate it

What do you want to know about the scan tools. I own 3 different types and have used them for the last 18+ years, so ya you could say I know about them.

Sweet, thanks man. Ive heard of being able to hook a laptop up to these cars and checking codes and clearing them and all that kind of stuff. What kind of cables do I need to hook my laptop up to it, and what kind of software. Im not planning on burning any chips because Im not gonna put in a cam or huge changes like that, just make headers and exhaust. The engine is gonna be mostly stock.
