85 G-body interior clean-up recommendations anybody?

I have 2 85 Cutlass Supremes. One I have retired for parts for the 'new' one. I love the blue interior of the older one, but it has 60/40 bench/column shift, and the new one is ugly yellowish tan with bucket/floor shift. I do not like the bucket seats, they seem to sit too high compared to the 60/40 that I am used to,so I would like to find a set of seats from a newer style car that wouldn't require much fab work. I like the Chrysler Sebring convertible and Dodge Ram Ext cab style where the seat belt is in the back of the seat. I never really did like the 20 foot long seatbelt design of these cars! Has anyone ever tried these, or any other 'modern' seats in one of these cars? I am planning on swapping the blue interior from the old one.

Also, does anybody know of any reproduction companies for dash pads? My blueone around the radio area is cracked and is just getting old and staring to crack elsewhere. I don't think repairing would look right, plus other places would just crack too.

Sorry this is so long-winded! Thank you for takling the time to read it though, and for any help anyone may have!

Rick

Just Dashes, can do you a dash pad, as for the seat swap. Changing seats between manufacturers involves a lot of fabrication of seat pedestals and adjuster rails.

if you want your buckets to be converted to a newer style, i belive the fbody firebird and camero will bolt right in...i know those sit lower than the cutlass' seats.

the dash pad you will have problems finding/fixing for a reasonable price.

Well, I have found a car that the interior is almost perfect, just the headliner is starting to fall, and it is the right color! Thank you for the suggestion of the f-body seats, I'll have to check into that.
