85 Trans Am

I am picking up an 85 Trans Am tomorrow. The present owner lost it in a rain shower because of the worn out tires on the rear (he liked to light them up too much), and the rear end took a beating when it hit a bank right rear corner first. The body is a dog, but the drive train is good, including a 305 HO Tuned Port motor and posi rear end. Most of the ground effects are sound, but the fenders, doors and quarters are not worth messing with. The T-Tops are good. Other words, this is a parts car and any one needing parts can PM me. I am only interested in the TPI hardware so freight will be your biggest expense.

PS: Hope this is not taken as an advertisement. I just want to help out a fellow rodder.

That is a cool deal Trees. I also hope it is not taking that way. I built a 85 T/A TPI engine for a buddy. When he ran out of money about 11 years ago,I quit.I was not getting paid, but could not build it for him without funds for parts and coffee. It needs a few things done, less tahn $100.00 worth of parts, yet it still sits in a garage as far as I know.He called me about 8 months ago and offered to sell it to me cheap, just do not have the need for it,so I had to decline.
Have fun with your new project engine.
