850 mighty demon carb on 383

my question is. I,m building a 383 and i purchased a 850 mighty demon carb. I bought it cause i was told it would work with my build. But then my father told me it was too big.

My build consists of as follows:

dart iron eagle platinum heads 215cc intake 2.05 valves 64cc combustion

eldelbrock super victor intake

iron eagle 383 rotation assembly 6in. rods flat top piston

crane mechanical small circle base cam roller 240/248 @0.050, 0.543/ 0.561, 110degree lobe separation

your input would be very appreciated. thanks

Going by pure calculated need it is to big. A 750 would probably be more well suited. Every build is different and there are a lot of things that come into play. Where you already have it it is probably worth trying to see how it performs.
