Cool 86 - 305 what cam?

Chevy 86 - 305 (egr) what should be max lift on a cam so as not to disturb brake vacuum or stock converter. Performer manifold also to be added but not much else.

I ran that exact cam (was an SSI from PAW) and it did just fine. It still made enough vacuum for the power brakes, but if you hit them more than once, the second time they were noticeably harder. A vacuum reservior took care of that though. Keep the lift, but a little less duration might be just what your looking for.
