86 trans am strut installation

Hi im back.i was told if i would be killed if i try to put in a new strut but someone else looked and said these struts dont have springs on them.can i put one on myself and if so how?thanks.

if they don't have springs on them, their not struts. Look again towards the top inside strut tower. Jacking the front corner up should expose the spring a little. Trying to change one without the right tool and experience can get you hurt.
