87 Chevy 350 TBI rod & main Clearance question

what is acceptable rod & main Clearances on a stock 87 Chevy 350 TBI engine ? (this motor was pulled 4 low oil pressure) this will be a all stock budget rebuild on a 87 Chevy 350 with fresh heads. what should ring gaps be ? or is there suggested ring gap from the ring manufactures on stock pistons (hoping I can hot tank this block & just hone the block, time will tell) ? where is good place to purchase a rebuild kit 4 this (mght need cam & lifters to) ? any other other input welcome.

If the rings are replacement rings for the stockers than there really is no worry unless there is excessive bore wear. As for the bearing clearences remember this rule of thumb: Anything under .001 is not enough and anything over .003 is too much.
