87 s10 2.8 v6 to 3.4 v6 crate engine swap info needed

ok i have an 87 s10 4x4 with the stock 2.8 v6 fuel injected and the stock 5 speed manual tranny. my 2.8 is blown and i want to replace it i would like more power than my 2.8 can give me i have heard about the gm 3.4 liter crate motor and would like to know some info on if it will work for my application and how much modifications i would have to make if any




please help
