88 700r4 accumulator

Rebuilding an 88 700r4 for performance street use. I plan to replace the the 1-2/3-4 accumulator piston with the pinless type, my question is the Aux valve body....can I use the pinless unit in there as well. The valve body is scored as is the one from a parts trans. so I will have to replace the body but the pinless question is still applicable. Any thoughts?

Glenn

700r4 pinless pistons

I mis-spoke, it is my 1-2 housing that is scored and needs replacing. So again can/do I use pinless pistons in all 3 locations?

really not necessary to put the pinless piston in the 3-4 accumualtor your best to just put the spring in first and then the stock piston on top of it against the sep plate this will remove the 3-4 accumulation.
