88' chevy s-10 engine and trans swap

I have an 88" chevy s-10 truck with a v-6 and a 5speed manual trans. I was wondering if the 77' v-8pontiac 400ci block and borg-warner t-10 4speed manual trans would fit in there.

any motor will fit in there, it just depends on what you want to do to make it sit in there. a big help for giving advice would be if it is 2 wheel or 4 wheel. answer that and i will try to help

Great answer by crussell85.

I've always said that with a MIG, cutting torch, Sawzall and a good hand grinder, I can make anything fit anything.

James, spend a couple coin and get this book used....less than a sawbuck with shipping....

s10

i have a 93 blazer with a 2.8 6cyl auto, trans runs really good, but has other problems. i keep finding diff s10's with blown motors for cheap and free with title
the one i want is an 98 s10 pickup 4cyl auto trans.
i have found i may need to use the 2.8 trans and computer.
would that work? would it be worth the trouble?
the 93 blazer is 4 wheel and the 98pickup is 2 wheel.
any info or input would be helpful.
