Question 88+ Fbird T5 to 68 Poncho Eng?

I'd like to hook up a T5 5speed trans to a 68 Pontiac 250 OHC 6cyl engine. From what I've learned, the World Class T5 is stronger than the earlier T5's and was put into Camaros and Firebirds beginning in 88. Do the Firebirds have the BOP engine/bellhousing bolt pattern? I understand that the T5's use a hydraulic throw-out bearing. Would it be possible to graft the Fbird brake and clutch master cylinders and pedals into my 48 Chevy delivery? I realize that the firewall will have to be braced.
