89 Sierra 350 TBI

Hi i have a 350 TBI and iam wondering if anyone can help me.
Engine runs great and is pretty good on gas, but i went to change my air filter and reaized that the air breather has a bit of gas in it and so did the air filter. Is the normal or what could cause this.

Any help would be great Thanks.

It depends on your definition of "a bit" but yes, there can be a little gas in the air cleaner. Every time the valves open and close, the air flows into the intake then back out when the valves slam shut. Since the injectors are in the throttle body, the air flowing out contains some fuel. This is called reversion.
