WDX L 9L15
2 47 9 S560A

WDX-L is just a "parts book" identifier that tells which vehicle it was installed in and what specific internal parts variation there might be. That is a pretty rare, but nothing special, diff installed with the disk brakes.

9L15 is the diff assm date
9 means 1979 in this case (other cars could be 1969, etc.)
L means November (11 th letter not using I)
15 th day of the month

2.47 is the gear.... if it were a traction lock it would say 2 L 47 (L for limited slip) sometimes the first number is obscured by the bolt head.

9 means 9 inch ring gear (not all are 8 or 9, there is a 9.3 etc)

S560A is plant and shift assembly code
