9 inch in a '38 ford

Howdy;
can any one tell me what year/model 9 inch will be the correct fit in my '38 Ford coupe?
I will be using a Chassis Engineering dual leaf spring kit.
thanks in advance

I don't know about your area but 9 inch are getting harder to find around here.
I have taken a 9" and narrowed one side of housing ,those rears have a long and short axle.pretty sure about 3" shorter
Got another short axle from junk yard and narrowed tubing to suit.Worked great in my 36 Ford coupe
Just an idea for you,just measure first make sure it will fit your application

Like already stated .. the 57 to 59 Ford rear ends are perfect. Station wagons and a few other models have the larger axle bearings but either size is OK for a street rod

Another candidate is the early Bronco ... 1966 to the mid 70's. They are the same general width of the 57 to 59 rear but have the 5 on 5.5 wheel pattern ... a LOT of rodders want the big Ford wheel pattern.
