Post 9 inch ford rearend

i found a rearend on my property and was wondering if it is a true ford 9 inch rearend i dont know if chevy made any rearends that looked the same as a ford 9 inch what part numbers do 9 inches have thanx guys

to the inexperienced a 55-64 chevy or olds-pontiac rear might look like a ford but a 9" ford rear has a seperate bolt on bearing retainer flange just behind the u-joint, also if you can't put a ratchet and socket on the bottom case bolt you probably have a 9".

Every GM rear that I've seen has GM cast into the center section. and 7 digit numbers cast in.
