I have the tag off of a Ford 9 inch I just bought. The numbers read WDM-AH 4GC. Right below that 3.25 9 328A. I have found that the WDM-AH is the 3.25 ratio, with 9" ring gear. What does the 4GC or 328A mean? I'm trying to find out what type of vehicle this came off of.
Thanks, Mike |

It came from about a 1972 pickup. The cataloging for light truck is different than car and sometimes the serial no. of the donor vehicle (production date) is neccessary for exact year of assembly. |
