9 inch wheel bearing issue
So I slide one side into housing and need to use a large rubber malet to get the wheel bearing/axle into the housing...But the other side slipes in and out by hand alone...No center pumkin in place....What gives????
Thanks |

Is the tight side rusty? Does the easy side look galled up like a bearing seized and spun in the housing?

I've seen them like that, it's no problem. (I like when they slide out easily)
The tightening down happens when you bolt the backing plate on. Later, mikey
