90 camaro Wheel Backspacing

Hi everybody,

Does anybody know What will be the best Backspacing for Wheel on a 1990 camaro.

I need to have 8 inch wide wheels on the rear and need to have the best BS to fit original Rear end (wheelhouse, differential etc...) (Does 10 inch wide fit, if yes...what BS we have to put on it)....

and for the front....7 inch wheels...

Thanks in advance for all the information!!

I dug up the info off my '92 Camaro build page. I was actually smart enough to list the specs. This is what I had on mine,

"These consisted of ROH Snyper wheels in 17x8" with 4.5" back spacing front and 17x9" with 5" back spacing rear. These were fitted with Yokohama AVS Sports in 245/45-17 front and 275/40-17 rear."

I tried to get the 17x9 with 275's on the front but they hit the lower fender corners. Keep in mind this was with a set of Baer brakes (same offset at 1LE package Camaros). The stock brake might allow the wider wheel but you would have to test fit that.

Hope that helps ya.
