91 350 chevy no spark no inj pulse

WOW i have never seen something like this in my life! i'm ready to pull my hair out! ok..... i have a 90 chevy w/t that came with the 4.3 and standard tranny. i got a 91 silverado from a friend that had a cracked frame so i took the motor from it, and computer wiring harness and ecm and put it in my truck. ran great! still had the original wiring harness in it. later i wanted to changed the heater box assembly to the push button style from the slide style so i used the same under the dash wiring harness that came from the donor truck and put it in. now it won't start. replaced the coil, dist, and ecm. still no start. went to do a voltage check and the ingition wire on the steering colum and the truck started... then started it a few more times after that. a few days later went to start it again and it did but only for a few second before i just started to spit and spudder then died. now won't start at all. everything but the steering colum os from the other truck. engine, wiring harness for the ecm, and under the dash harness for the fuse block and ecm.
