91 chevy tbi 350 no spark or inj pulse

WOW i have never seen something like this in my life! i'm ready to ull my hair out! ok..... i have a 90 chevy w/t that came with the 4.3 and standard tranny. i got a 91 silverado from a friend that had a cracked frame so i took the motor from it, and computer wiring harness and ecm and put it in my truck. ran great! still had the original wiring harness in it. later i wanted to changed the heater box assembly to the push button style from the slide style so i used the same under the dash wiring harness that came from the donor truck and put it in. now it won't start. replaced the coil, dist, and ecm. still no start. went to do a voltage check and the ingition wire on the steering colum and the truck started... then started it a few more times after that. a few days later went to start it again and it did but only for a few second before i just started to spit and spudder then died. now won't start at all. everything but the steering colum os from the other truck. engine, wiring harness for the ecm, and under the dash harness for the fuse block and ecm.

Do you have power out at the coil?

Power to the injectors?

Fuses ok?

When a ignition module go's out on these it sure acts the same.

Could you possibly have not hooked back up somthing under the dash?

Any updates?

got it fixed!!!! finally! ok if the wires INSIDE the four wire plug are not in there secure, even though you may not see them loose or they may pass a continuity check they still could be bad! i replaced the plug and wires and the truck runs great now!!

The four wire connector on the back of the dist. module? Yep.. that'll do it.
Glad it's back on the road!

yeah that was the culpret. i checked everything and it all checked good but i could figure out why i was gettin the signal pulse to the ecm. i stumbled acrossed it when i decided to take the dist cap off and turn the ingition on. then i loosened the base of the dist like you changing the timing. when it passed the pick up point while turning the the base and holding those wires while they were plugged in it shocked me through the coil wire, unplugged that too. so i put it back together and the truck started. then i got out and wiggled those wires and the truck shut off. so that when i replaced the plug.
