91 ranger 2.3 cracked Oil pan

I have a guy with a cracked oil pan on a 91 ranger 2.3.
Its an aluminum pan, and its cracked at the rear on both sides of the rear main / main saddle area.
A young buck owns it. 5 Speed standard.
I think he was thrashing it. Anyone else see this ?

I've never seen it on the aluminum pans but I see it all the time on the stock steel ones. We end up filling the outer edge with additional weld and not over torque it.

loose bolts

If he had some loose bell housing bolts that might let let things move and fatigue the metal. the oil pan was designed to tie the bottom half of the bell housing to the engine, thru the oil pan. make everything rigid so the bell housing wouldn't have to be so beefy.

Just put a clutch in it. Bolts are all tight. Just wasnt sure if abuse by the young owner could have cracked it. Excessive thrust/ dumping the clutch etc .
