a small update, waiting for the truck to get back to do the touch up on the filler. now the fun part sand sand sand and more sand.

How much weight do you figure you have added to the base weight of the S-10? Project looks great BTW.

BTW: My guess is that the MDF framework and extras will add 100 to 150 lbs to the truck, but an S-10 is not going to be running 1/4 miles anyway.............

looks good

it looks good, I just don't like the boom, boom booom speakers, there were probably a lot of people that didn't like the sound of the split exhaust and straight pipes on my chevy 6 in the 50's. A friend was the mechanic at a used car lot in town and stayed in his trailer in the back of the lot with his dog.. about 2 AM every morning a kid showed up with his boom booom pickup to take his girl friend home and woke him up. one night the kid was in the resturant parking lot and backed up next to gene's trailer so he got up and filled the back of the pickup with water. he said the speakers just went bublbe ,,,buble... no more boom booom in the midle of the night.

LOL i like that story
this isnt for me im building it for someone else but i understand fully. im 36yrs old and i still like my music loud but i dont like to disturb others with it.
